Battery Warranty

Our Guarantee

Platinum Roadside Assistance LLC will replace any battery we sell and install if it fails due to defects in materials or workmanship, under normal installation, use, and service, while under warranty. This warranty does not cover the exceptions listed below under “What Is Not Covered.”

Automotive batteries are warranted only when installed in cars or light trucks. Installation of an automotive battery in any other type of vehicle or equipment will void this warranty. All other battery types must be used only for the purposes and applications for which they are intended, advertised, or marketed.

This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages such as physical injuries, property damage, loss of time, loss of use of the vehicle, inconvenience, rental vehicle costs, towing charges, or accommodations resulting from battery failure.

Length of Warranty

Your warranty begins on the date of purchase and ends at the conclusion of the warranty period printed on your original receipt, or when you sell your vehicle, whichever occurs first. This warranty is non-transferable.

If no warranty period is listed for a specific battery type, it will be subject to a limited 90-day warranty.

Free Replacement Period

The free replacement period begins on the date of purchase and ends at the conclusion of the Free Replacement Period shown on your invoice. If your battery is replaced during this period, the original warranty date still applies and does not reset.

Note: While the replacement battery itself is free during this period, a minimal installation fee of $19.95 will apply.

Battery Testing & Low Charge

Just because a battery is low on charge does not mean the battery is defective. A proper diagnostic test must be performed by Platinum Roadside Assistance LLC or by Advance Auto Parts to determine if the battery fails under warranty. Test results from third parties are not valid for warranty claims.

What Is Not Covered

• This warranty does not cover:

• Failure due to misuse, abuse, modification, accident, collision, or improper installation.

• Using a battery for any purpose other than its intended and marketed use.

• Parts under manufacturer recall for a related problem.

• Batteries installed on vehicles used for off-road or racing purposes.

• Normal wear and tear.

• Used batteries.

• Batteries installed on commercial-use vehicles beyond 90 days from the date of purchase.

Commercial-Use Vehicles

Batteries installed on commercial-use vehicles are warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase only, regardless of any longer period shown on your receipt.

What You Must Do

To submit a warranty claim, you must provide the defective battery along with your original receipt to Platinum Roadside Assistance LLC during normal business hours - Monday-Friday 8am-4pm EST or call 717-350-9890.

Legal

This limited warranty represents the total liability of Platinum Roadside Assistance LLC for any battery we sell and install. We make no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights depending on your state.

Platinum Roadside Assistance LLC does not authorize any person to vary the terms, conditions, or exclusions of this warranty.
